England's Medieval Festival is held annually on August Bank Holiday weekend and from humble beginnings has grown to become Britain's largest annual three day celebration of the colourful middle ages; each year attracting over two thousand medieval re-enactors, performers, musicians, artisans and craft workers from throughout the United Kingdom and Europe and more than thirty thousand visitors from around the world.
